HEADCANON: SGWing
This is headcanon I developed for the Lost Pages event at Re/Aligned back in...August 2012? Finally posting it! XD
At his core SG!Wing is a self-serving, self-centered individual. All others are simply pieces in a game, some useful to him, some not. Some good to ally with, some simply as toys for his entertainment. Other players in then game he tries to manipulate to gain control of or at least 'allegiance' with, while pawns he plays with in whatever way suits his fancy.
He really doesn't forms bonds (when he does they are NOT healthy) or appreciate people for who they are, only what they can do for him. Therefore he has no true friends to speak of. Admirers, lovers, allies, supplicants, thralls and of course enemies yes, but no friends.
I'll hit a few of the dominating personality points:
Manipulative
This is not an inverse personality trait so much as a normal talent Wing has that he usually puts to morally good use, now used for far more terrible things. He enjoys pulling other people's emotional strings and skewing their perspectives. He tests the strengths of their values and to the weak minded he feeds whatever alternatives benefit or amuse him most.
Overall most of these actions are power plays. They undermine power/position and weaken confidence/esteem while setting himself up as the 'solution', therefore making people dependent on him for emotional well being, social/political status or physical resources.
Amoral/Impropriety
SG!Wing's desire to do what's right is pretty much nonexistent. He knows what it is, but he mocks it openly.
One of Wing's strongest values is propriety, including consent and consideration for others. Inversely, Evil!Wing simply takes what he wants, and moreso, often feels entitled to do so. If there's resistance that just makes things interesting. Conversely, the more someone wants something from him, the more he is tempted to deny it, simply because he has the power to do so.
He deliberately invades the space of others. He's just as tactile if not moreso--though usually for the opposite reason--and often in inappropriate ways. His vocal tone, body language, and word choice are often carefully chosen to make others either attracted or uncomfortable or better yet, both at the same time. He can be silver-tongued one moment and cutting the next. All these actions are meant toweb intentionally unsettling which allows him to manipulate them better. They are all small ways in which he controls people and takes power from them.
Evil!Wing has the same level of inhibitions as normal Wing does, so needless to say combined with the above this is a recipe for inappropriate touching, dub-con and non-con if it should suit his goals.
Sadistic
He makes free use of violence, but usually to serve a purpose. He is not a sadist in the sense of purely enjoying of seeing others in pain. Though he does find it mildy interesting, on its own it's boring. Anyone can resist pain. Using pain, torture and violence as as tools for psychological manipulation are far more beneficial to him. However, he is a vain creature, so having an audience and enjoying the shock value of witnessing another's suffering is something he enjoys.
Vain/Superior
This is the inverse of Wing's humility and desire to see people as equals. It doesn't exactly come off as arrogance--he doesn't flaunt it because he has no need to prove it to anyone. It simply is. It is a motivating factor for many of his choices and other traits however, like his feeling of entitlement. It also shows subtly in the way he carries himself. He does sometimes put on a bit of a show because he likes the attention.
Some inspirational credit goes to HK for this. It's been well over a year since I read her SGWing fics but undoubtedly there's some influence here.
